Should you get a bidet for hygiene purposes?

I once had the Western toilet habit explained to me succinctly.

If you stood on a poop in bare feet, would you wash your feet or rub them off with some dry paper?

I’m not sure what your answer is, but I know I am a rinse-and-lather man.

So, how has this system been normalised in most Western cultures? Hard to pin down, but maybe it’s time for a cleaner and ‘sprayier’ bathroom experience.

There are options for most in the bidet world, and a budget that would suit most people.

You can go for the premium option, which has a Bluetooth remote, heated seat and water, front and back washer, and self-clean amongst the most useful of functions.

Toto Washlet

You could go for the budget option, which has a hose and a gun that squirts your nether regions with pristine (yet cold) water.

The options are there for you, depending on how you want to keep your holier than holy’s clean.

There are high-end options from Kohler, Duravit and Toto, down to the budget one you can buy from Bunnings.

However, We would advise against the cheapest of sprayers as they tend to drip, if not worse.

We have some very affordable options ready for your perusal, as well as advice on which seat to buy should you require one.

Don’t hesitate to contact us if you would like to discuss the options with one of the team.
